Peter Muld Photography

As a photographer and filmmaker, you have an obligation to make people aware of what our nature really looks like. Not only the beauty, but also how we treat nature with clear-cutting, littering, trophy hunting etc.

Currently I’m working with Stefan Edman and Lisa Sihlberg on an environmental documentary about the Bohus coast where we’re interviewing scientists and fishermen about out fishing, loss of habitats, marine litter, climate etc.
I can promise you exciting interviews and lots of facts about life both below and above the surface.
It is increasingly important to enlighten people about the environment and one way to do that is through storytelling and photos. We have chosen to do that through a one-hour long documentary.

On this page I mostly post photos but feel free to follow me on Instagram, Facebook and youtube where I mix storytelling with my photos.

In 2023 I became a member of the Swedish film association Naturfilmarna after an invitation from the board. Of course, very fun and honorable to have the opportunity to be involved.

Over the past two years, filming has taken a larger place and today the interest is as great as photography. From 2018 to 2020, Stefan Edman and I worked on the film ”Bredfjället i våra hjärtan”, (Bredfjället in our hearts). The movie is a tribute to Bredfjället and a documentation of people, nature and events that have taken place since the 1800s. It premiered on February 2, 2021 at Ljungskile bio and became very popular in Bohuslän. It was also sold out 4 nights in a row. So far it has been shown in Ljungskile, Hjärtum, Forshälla, Uddevalla, Stenungsund, Bokenäs, Lysekil and Tjörn.

In the fall of 2022, our latest film ”En badglad polis” premiered at Ljungskile cinema with two screenings that were almost sold out. It is now available for free on Youtube. In just 5 days we had over 1200 views.
I produce all the films myself and it is a very long process that requires patience and accuracy. But I love it!

I hope that my passion is reflected in my pictures and that you find something you like.

I want a clean and healthy ocean without plastic and other litter that kills marine life.
Unfortunately, there is an incredible amount of plastic on the west coast of Sweden.

The worst situation in Sweden is on the west coast – which is extremely affected by the North Sea currents flowing into the Skagerrak. According to Håll Sverige Rent, Keep Sweden Clean, 5 bathtubs of litter float ashore every hour around the Bohuscoast, and the majority of all waste that floats ashore consists of plastic.

I decided to support CleanSea in their efforts to clean up the beaches from plastic and litter on the west coast.
